Nationwide security integrator Advanced Security Group has acquired Concord Security, further strengthening its position in New Zealand.
Founded in 2002, Advanced Security is a large dedicated corporate and industrial electronic security provider with many high-profile corporate and government clients supported by 13 branches across the country. This latest acquisition follows six others, including more recently South Island integrator Struthers Electronics & Security in late 2014 and Systems.Com in 2010. It continues to maintain an average growth rate of 30 percent per annum.
Concord was founded in 1976 and operates across the Auckland, Waikato, and Bay of Plenty regions.
“We continue to invest in the security sector and the Concord Security business reinforces several of our existing geographic regions,” says group CEO, Mike Marr.
Staff will remain with the business as it is incorporated into Advanced Security this month.
“We must be located where our customers are and we will continue to reinforce existing Advanced Security branches as well as establishing new branches around New Zealand, “says Marr.
