Double benefit for retirement living

Mode Technology, in partnership with SIMPPLE Australia, a subsidiary of the Singapore-based tech solution provider, has deployed autonomous cleaning robots in 80 retirement facilities across the country. It marks the largest single robotic fleet successfully deployed in the retirement living sector in New Zealand, the company says.

Headquartered in Singapore, in the emerging PropTech space, SIMMPLE has a strong foothold in the facilities management market, serving more than 60 clients in both the public and private sectors in Singapore and extending into Australia and the Middle East.

The company developed its proprietary SIMPPLE Ecosystem, to create an automated workforce management tool for building maintenance, surveillance and cleaning. It is made up of a mix of software and hardware solutions such as robotics for both cleaning and security and IoT devices.

“We are proud to have secured this contract and managed the full deployment with SIMPPLE,” says Vincent. “The robots utilise advanced sensors and artificial intelligence to navigate complex spaces with precision, setting a high standard for hygiene and efficiency.”
